The period for nominations by foreign partner institutions and applications from Esalq/USP students is now finished. The list of participants in the 8th edition of the International School will be published on this site in May.
For foreign students
Partner universities must send an email to is.esalq@usp.br (in copy international.esalq@usp.br) with the nomination of their students including their full name, gender, date of birth, name of the degree course/program and the student's email address.
The nominated students will receive an email with the Application Form, which must be returned by April 22th, and attach the following documents (all in PDF), in addition to the completed Application Form (indicate in the Subject: Name + ISEsalq 2024):
- Letter of recommendation written by the student's home university;
- Official transcripts, translated into English or Portuguese;
- Copy of the passport page containing personal details.
For Esalq/USP students
Those interested must fill in the Application Form (click here) and send it to the email is.esalq@usp.br (in copy international.esalq@usp.br), indicate in the Subject: Name + ISEsalq 2024, also attaching:
- Academic transcript;
- Letter of motivation (in English).
The deadline for nominating partner universities is April 15th. The letter of acceptance will be sent by April 30.
The deadline for applications from nominated foreign students and Esalq/USP students is April 22nd.
Total number of places (estimated): 20 foreign students and 10 Esalq students (the course coordinators will select the applicants).
All participants will be enrolled in class 011-0225 (Tropical Biobased Production Systems) to receive a USP transcript with the grade and academic workload of 60 hours of activities (note: Esalq/USP students will receive the grade and credits as a regular class).
