Minimum requirements
Master’s degree
- 28 coursework credits (each credit is equivalent to 15 hours) and 68 dissertation credits
- English language proficiency
- Qualifying Exam
- Completion of all requirements and deposit of dissertation within 28 months of initial registration in the graduate program
- A dissertation supervised by the academic Advisor to be defended in a final oral examination by an Examination Committee
Doctor’s degree
- 22 coursework credits (each credit is equivalent to 15 hours) and 170 thesis credits
- English language proficiency
- Qualifying Exam
- Completion of all requirements and deposit of dissertation within 48 months of initial registration in the graduate program
- A thesis supervised by the academic Advisor to be defended in a final oral examination by an Examination Committee
Doctor’s degree (Straight-through)
- 50 coursework credits (each credit is equivalent to 15 hours) and 170 thesis credits
- English language proficiency
- Qualifying Exam
- Completion of all requirements and deposit of dissertation within 60 months of initial registration in the graduate program
- A thesis supervised by the academic Advisor to be defended in a final oral examination by an Examination Committee
